Vintage Peony

There's still plenty of time to sign up for my blogaversary candy giveaway.  Just click on the link at the top right of the page to go to the post.

I know, this is a little different for me right? Well I'll say it again, monochromatic is HARD! LOL For me anyway.  However, if there's one thing I enjoy, that's a challenge.
A month or so ago I stumbled on a Aussie website called Make It Crafty through my friend Annika. Back when I was a bit more organized I had started a Monday blog post where I sent you to visit a crafter somewhere out there in bloggie land who I had discovered through my commenting duties that I felt might be a great inspiration to you. Annika was one of the people I showcased. She is a colorer extraordinaire! Anyway, she is a member of the Design team for the Make It Crafty blog. If you love Magnolia's and the like then you really need to visit this site. Zoe makes background scenery for stamping and they are incredible! Besides that, she is awesome with a marker! She even has tutorials.
Zoe has started a new challenge blog called Make It Colourful. It's ALL about coloring and coloring techniques. I love it! I've already learned so many great tips. This weeks challenge is monochromatic. I will definitely have to practice this technique some more but it was fun to give it a shot.
I've used an peony image from Just Inklined colored with three Copic markers. That's pretty monochromatic huh?
I'm also entering this card in the following challenges:

Wild Orchid Challenges--let's get sentimental
Pollycraft Monday--black and white + one color
Stampin' Sisters in Christ--vintage

     Thanks for popping in!
