A Valentine Book of Love

I've been wanting to make one of these "book" cards for a long time.  This will be part of my husband's Valentines gift this year.  I'll have a tutorial on how to make the "book" with all the measurements I used posted here on the blog next week.
Everything's layered and inked.  The flowers on the cover are some of the new Recollections line at Michaels.  I added a bunch of leaves I printed and cut out from a Fred, She Said Designs digi flower set.  There's a fun pink chipboard flourish from my friend Silvia.  I covered it with Tattered Rose Crackle paint.  The butterfly is also from a FSS digi stamp set.  I cut it out, colored it with Copic markers and covered it with Rock Candy Crackle paint.  I did a lot of machine stitching on the matting pieces on this project.

The tag is stamped with a sweet Lili of the Valley image and colored with Copic markers.  The back has lines for journaling my Valentine message.

Inside the box created from the faux pages, I have created a ticket shaped mini album.  More of the Recollections flowers grace it's cover, and I printed the sentiment out on my computer, cut it apart and inked it.  The mini is held closed with a belly band of kraft paper with one of the flowers added to it.

Each page includes a scratch off decal that covers up each of the reasons I love my hubby.  Just a little added fun to have him scratch off the coating to read the reason that goes along with the journaling on each page.  I left the decal off the sentiment on the right so you could see what it will look like after scatched off.
This was so fun to make and hopefully will be a fun little extra something for my hubby.  There's a complete list of supplies at the bottom of this post
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
