The new Merry Monday challenge is to create a card with a predominantly white base and kraft for accents. I'm trying to challenge myself to step outside of my very small box of creativity so I decided to give this a try. I stamped the the tree image on some kraft paper and then covered the image with score tape. Once I peeled the backing away I covered the image with ultra fine white glitter and then burnished it into the adhesive. The camera just can't capture how beautiful the sparkle is. Maybe you can see it better in this pic.
The top embossed layer is popped up on foam. I'm also going to link this card up with City Crafters "snow white" challenge although it might have a bit too much kraft for their requirements.
Here are a few more challenges I'd like to enter.
