Terrific fussy cutting on that tail and the leaves on the limb. Love how they come off the background and really pull all the elements of the sketch together. Looks wonderful Hick!

This monkey makes me laugh. He's so cute...great shading once again. I love how his tail and the leaves are coming off the circle. It creates such energy like he's popping right off the page. Your paper choices are wonderful and the stitching is such a lovely detail. I really need to do more of that. Thanks for the nudge :)

ReplyDeleteAww, Love this, it's so adorably cute!! I had to have a wee read about your hubby, glad he's coming round a bit. When he sits down and makes one you know he's truly converted lol! My OH watced me making in the early days & decided he wanted to have a go so he did. He's made & sold quite a few cards but if we sit down & craft together he is forever asking my opinion on what he's doing which means I get much less done. Sometimes he'll look at my cards & point out wonky bits or tell me I should have done something different. To be fair he will also compliment cards he likes. More recently he's been happier buying supplies than creating, the result being that I now have a house full of stash some of which I would never have brought & will struggle to use!! You can't win them all....xx
