Water, water, everywhere! I'm the hostess this week at Mo's Digital Pencil and I'd like to see water in some form on your cards. I've used one of Mo's newer images "Snorkle Boy" which can be found in Mo's store along with a girl version.
I used a great tutorial at Make It Crafty by Barbara at Forgotten Scraps to create the Copic colored water background.
Lots of layering, but still CAS. The wave die cuts are inked with white Color Box ink for a little white cap action. I sprayed the water with Perfect Pearls and it really shimmers IRL although you can't see it at all here.
Copic colors used:
skin (E000, E00, E11, E13)
hair (E21, E23, E25, E29)
shorts (YR61, YR65, YR68, E99) (B21, B24, B26)
mask (R35, R37, R39, R43)(C00, C2, C4, C6) BV31 used over mask glass
fins (N3, N5, N7, N9)
bubbles (B0000, B000, B00)
