Papa and me

     It's Friday so that means new release time at A Day For Daisies.  Tammy has some awesome people images this time.
     I've chosen to use the "Papa and Me" digi and color it with Copics.  The papers are from my bargain pads.  I LOVE paper!!!!  LOL
     We start a new challenge this week at the ADFD blog and we want to see fabric or fibers on your card.  I kinda forgot that until I had finished the card and then had the scrabble my brains and my supplies to find the scrap of burlap to add under the image.  Bad Tracy!  LOL
     I'd like to enter this card into these challenges:

    How clever adding the bit of burlap beneith the image. It's just the right touch and not too much either. Looks like they've just walked past straw or grass. Perfect! What a lovely card!

    What a sweet card, Tracy! That image is so adorable and as always, your coloring is fabulous. Really love the woodgrain paper and the happy polka dots. The bit of burlap adds great texture, too. :)

    Tracy: I agree that this is an amazing image, but I will also say that it wouldn't be nearly as lovely if you hadn't done SUCH a wonderful job coloring and styling it into this beautiful card.     Those couldn't be any more precious images! I am just loving this new release and the one that you picked just melts my heart. I love that Gpa is taking him out with his slingshot...LOL. Unfortunately there never was a place to store one of those in my little foo-foo dresses... :(
    Fantastic wood grain papers that you LOOOOVE and the burlap and twine and obviously perfect matches to the textures. A very touching and sentimental card H.
