I totally
I used a Memory Box "Delicate Fern" die to cut out the image and then did lots of layering. Using negative space is a fun and different way to make a card so I hope you'll hop over to Catered Crop and play along.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Supplies
- Paper: Bazzill, Recollections
- Stamp: Stampdendous "Orchid Greetings"
- Ink: Ranger Jet Black Archival
- Tools: Memory Box Delicate Fern die, MFT Die-namics Fishtail Banners, Tim Holtz ruler, paper piercer, EK Success Corner rounder
- Miscellaneous: Hang Tag String, Michael's button
That is so eye catching, Tracy! Love the paper piercing too - really makes the image pop!

Your black & white creation is so beautiful, Tracy! You and of course the sweet and talented Beate (she is originally German just like me) are always such a great inspiration! It's somehow fitting because my dad was calling today to tell me the bad news that our neighbour lost her battle against cancer - I am so sad :o(

Such a striking elegant card. Love the layers and the piercing. It's funny that you say Beate is one of your card-making heroes because she's also one of mine and so are you. I get such inspiration and learn so much from both of you.
