Are you hungry now?

Did you see the big announcements last week at the There She Goes blog?  Some of our wonderfully talented team members have left us and we have a brand new crop of super talented newbies joining us.  One of them is Vera Yates of Ling's Design Studio.  She's our hostess for this weeks new challenge at TSG which is to use ONLY black cardstock for your matting.
I had already decided to do something with the chef and a menu board when my friend Kim posted an awesome card that TOTALLY inspired me and I had to case it a bit.  She used the sheet of paper from the October Afternoon 5 & Dime pad with the great menu boards on it.  Perfect!  I'd forgotten I even had that pad.  Thanks again Kim for the wonderful inspiration!
It's really amazing to see how much black matting changes the look of your project and of course it won't work on everything, but we'd love to see what you come up with so get out your crafty goodies and play along.  Our winner will get a $5.00 gift certificate to the TSG store and there are SOOOOO many cute stamps sets in there you won't have a hard time finding something you love.
You can check out todays post at the blog for links to the cards my team mates have created for inspiration and if you need another example you can check out my previous card here or my little aviator card here from last week.

Supplies:  Paper--October Afternoon "5 & Dime", My Mind's Eye "Dilly Dally", Recollections, Copic XPress-it Blending card; Stamps--There She Goes Clear Stamps "Bon Appetit"; Ink--Copics, Versamark; Tools--Fiskars Circle Cutter, Sizzix Decorative Corners, MFT Die-Namics Fishtail Banners, sewing machine; Miscellaneous--Stampendous white embossing powder, Michael's buttons, Kraft Outlet Hang Tag String, Offray lace

  26. Wauw what a great card.
I have just had my diner but when i see this card i almost got hungry in some sweet apple pie.
Thinking of that i do got some over in the fridge.

But that baker is so fun to watch.
It remains me of my old boss.
I was a baker some years ago and my old boss had just a belly like your little guy.

It brings good memory's to me when i look to this card.
I love the image of the prices.
Is it a whole set the prices with the little baker??

    Great Job on the card.

    Have a wonderful day.
