Palm tree parrot

No parrots in our area although we do have palm trees.  Technically the sweet May garden bird from Purple Onion Designs is not a parrot, but I colored her that way to go with the tropical theme.

Copics Used:
bird R24, YR07, Y15, BG05, YG23, YG25
leaves YG03, YG23, YG17
coconuts E23, E25, E29
trunk E71, E74, E70

Looks like Alberto is going to miss us so maybe we'll dry out a bit.
     Happy Memorial Day!
Tracy

Supplies:
Paper--My Mind's Eye "Sunny", Neenah, Recollections
Stamps--Purple Onion Designs
Ink--Simon Says Stamp Intense Black, Versafine Onyx Black

  1. We don't have parrots or palm trees in our area, so it's a treat to see! Your cards are always a treat to see! We're in for a really hot day today! It will be feeling like I'm among the palm trees and parrots, so I'll be dreaming of my snowmen! :o)

  2. What a delightful card to wake up to! Your sweet "parrot" (so ingenious of you to color her as a parrot, that really opens up the possibilities for the stamp doesn't it?) is so charming. Love your color choices and palm tree coloring and design. A winning card all around!

  3. Your palm tree and parrot have me dreaming of sitting under it along the ocean somewhere to get cooled off. Reaching 100 today, and it is almost that now! Good day to stay indoors and maybe work on a card. As always Tracy, you are such an inspiration, love your interpretation of the parrot by using your garden bird - fabulous card! Enjoy your Memorial Day!
