Age appropriate

What does that mean?  LOL  They say you're only as young as you feel. Welllll..sometimes I feel pretty darned old and other times I feel like a kid (my body won't let me act like one though LOL).
For these two girlfriends from Art Impressions it means a night out on the town.

The card was made using a recent tutorial posted by Jennifer Maguire for an Inside Shadow Box card and AI's Crazy Friends set.  The birthday cake on the front of the card comes from the Sunny Shades set.
I used my stitched rectangle dies to cut out the opening and then created a background for the party girls with a city scape die, some Distress inks and a little white paint splatter.  The ladies were fussy cut and added to the top of the frame.

If these two look familiar it may be because you saw them at CHA last January or on the videos Art Impressions shot there.  I colored them up for an emergency display card and sent the images via email to AI so they could create cards for the show.  Their version was awesome so here's mine..
     Happy Wednesday all!
Tracy

  8. Oh WOW!!! I LOVE this! Fantastic design and the colouring is second to non! I like those shadow boxes and this one has the coolest surprise inside! I can agree with you on the way we feel sometimes... In my head I'm still only 30 but heck my body doesn't agree! Still I am so lucky that I can now move about freely having had a year of pain. Have a good week my friend
