Everything's Just Peachy!

This adorable little ballerina image from The Graphics Fairy is gracing the front of my card for both The Play Date Cafe #32 and City Crafters challenge blogs for this week. CCCB Week 7 asked us to use a bow and a button and PDC gave us this beautiful palate to work with. If I could get my hands on that cake it would disappear in the blink of an eye. :)

All the flowers are handmade. You can find tons of tutorials on the rolled rose buds. The other two flowers are Prima knockoffs that I learned how to make from the very talented Jules. You can find her tutorials on YouTube. Her YT name is jannaviles. I had a blast making the flowers. It takes a little while but I love the look of handmade flowers.

Supplies
Papers: peach and yellow card stock, Provo Craft Mini Slab III
Embellishments: lace, peach ribbon, pearl trim, Winter White Vintage Shabby Seam Binding, button, DMC Pearl Cotton embroidery floss, Prima acrylic accents, Hematite acrylic accents
Inks, etc.: EK Success Metallic Writer, Versafine Vintage Sepia, Vintage Photo and Pumice Stone Distress Ink, Fairy Garden and Vanilla Breeze Glimmer Mist
Stamps: Papertrey Ink
Tools: Nestabilities Fleur De Lis Pendant (S4-204), Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Ovals Large (S4-111), Nestabilities Classic Ovals Large (S4-110), EK Success Empressor Rolling Ball Embosser, Martha Stewart Leaf Punch

Thanks so much to all of you who leave me such encouraging comments. I really appreciate each and every one of them. Thanks for stopping by!

Holy cow, those flowers look JUST LIKE the photo! And, I thought the leaves were real, I must admit... I think I would use those cool vintage photos all the time, if I thought I wouldn't bore everyone to death - they have so much interest, and don't you think the sentiment always makes them funny ! I see only one person got all the votes on Papercraft Star, sigh. I did read the instructions, and they were about what I thought, but I am not so keen about doing tutorials, no camera, and I was a teacher long enough.... We are going to the casino early in the am, so must get to bed, crab and shrimp for breakfast at the best buffet EVER... creme brulee for dessert... I will dream of goodies all night now .... Have a great weekend !!

What an absolutely beautiful card Tracy... love the colours and the flowers are just stunning, they look like peonie roses, you'll need to do a wee tutorial on how you made them, I'd love to learn how you did them :-)

Ah yes, the ♥♥♥ - put your keyboard in the number lock, hold down ALT, and use the numeric pad. The heart is ALT 3, but there are about 30 or so, start with ALT 1, up to ALT 30 and you will find some cool ones, like ♦ ♣ ♠ •◘...even little musical notes...
