A Winter White Magnolia

Okay ladies, hats off to those of you who can make monochromatic cards!  I really struggled with this one.  Guess I'm too much of a color person.  I kept wanting to add something else cause I felt like it looked so bare.
It's a very simple card.  Just plain white cardstock.  I used the Cuttlebug Textile embossing folder on the bottom mat and the frame.  The flower was printed out three times.  Two copies were cut out and layered with pop dots.  The frame is raised up on pop dots too so that the layered flower sits in the recess.  White satin ribbon, some Crystal Stickles and a sentiment I made on the computer and cut out with a Nestie finish up the card.  I told you it was simple. :-)

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
City Crafter--Winter White
Tuesday Throwdown--embossing

Have a great weekend!

Supplies

Paper:  Georgia Pacific
Image:  "Saucer Magnolia" from Dover Publications "Redouté Flowers and Fruits" CD-ROM & Book
Tools:  Nestabilities Labels Four (S4-190)
Miscellaneous:  satin ribbon from my stash, Crystal Stickles

Well Tracy, I'm one for colours, too, but sometimes less is more and this is a very good example. Because you used several layers, there's lots to look at (even though it's white), in short: you made an exquisitely elegant card! Have a great weekend, hugs, Ira

ha...Nothing "simple" looking about this card Tracy! I'd say it's tres elegant! I don't have my keyboard set up for french right now so I can't add the proper accents! lol I understand the term "simple" is relative as far as your cards go...but it's really lovely! :o)

You might think it's simple, but it doesn't look that way. It's very pretty my rooster sister!!
