A Milestone Birthday card

Good grief!  Where does the time go?  My baby will be twenty years old tomorrow.  It just doesn't seem possible.  I could never have asked for a better child.  My hubby called me a few minutes ago and we were talking about her birthday.  He said, "Do you know how blessed we are?  She has never given me one night of troubled rest!"  It's true!  She's beautiful, smart, funny, and those who call her friend know they have a friend in deed.
You might think this is a strange choice for a twenty year old's birthday card, but you have to understand what a movie fanatic my girl is.  It's nothing for the two of us to walk around the house quoting movie scenes with each other.  Anne of Green Gables is one of her favorites.  I'm surprised she hasn't worn the movies out!  My girls a bit of a romantic (can't imagine where she gets that from?{grin})  So when I saw this image from Mo's Digital Pencil, I knew this was going to be her b-day card this year.
I used my Copics to color her.  I was really worried about the hair.  I didn't have any of the colors recommended for auburn hair, but in all actuality if you've read the books or watched the movie, Anne was called "carrots" by her future husband, so I wanted her hair to be more orangy that auburn.  I don't think it came out too bad.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

The Sweet Stop--sketch
Everybody Art Challenge--Recipe: 3 papers, 3 flowers and option ribbon
Ooh La La Creations Challege--for someone special
Pollycraft Monday--special birthday
The Southern Girls--blue and chocolate

     Have a great day!

I didn't even have to read the post to know this was Anne - the first time I saw that series on PBS I wept with laughter. So dramatic ! Dom and I still quote "the lady of Shallot" to one another when we are being dramatic. Happy birthday to your charming K - she will love this card, I know it. (I miss my daughter living with me, we used to watch ice skating together and critique the outfits and jumps {like I am the expert}, but now, not so fun... sniff)

Yay for birthdays! Don't they just grow up so fast? Tracy, you must post a tutorial for how you create your easel cards. Once I tried making one, but it came out just wrong. Ha!

I'd love some tips since you always post such great tutorials and videos. If you've posted one before, would you please send me a link?
