Birdie Blue

March is just flying by, and speaking of flying, this week's new release from A Day For Daisies is the cutest little flock of birdie images.  You can find them all in the ADFD store including this one called "Happy Birdie Blue".  I started off trying to paper piece him but changed my mind and went for the Copics instead with a little Prismas thrown in for good measure.  :-)  I've used some more gorgeous MME papers and gave stipling a try.  I need some more practice.  Think I should have put some of the dots closer together or overlapping and it would have looked better.
Besides the new release, this week also marks a new challenge at the ADFD blog.  The new theme is "Shades of Blue".  We'd love to have you play along with us.  Just use an ADFD image and if you don't have one, there are a couple in the store and Tammy always generously provides a freebie on new challenge day so everyone can play.
I'd like to enter this little guy into the following challenges:

Cardmadfairy's Digi Days--digi plus add a sentiment
Chocolate, Coffee, and Cards--feathers and fur
Frosted Designs Fabulous Fridays--things with wings
Polka Doodles--animal or bird
Crafty Sentiments--things with wings

     Happy Weekend!

My nickname is Bird, so this one touches my heart. I just LOVE this little scene you've created. The ground looks wonderful and as much as I like the dotty dot backgrounds, your style I like even better. The perfect "Hi" card!! Gorgeous ensemble of goodies here. :)
Have a great weekend!
