Good thoughts

Second post for today.  If you missed my A Day For Daisies post you can find it here.
Isn't this little fellow cute as can be.  He's "Sunflower Teddie" from Whimsy and Stars Studio.  I just love working with Mabelle's little critters.  :-)
I found these papers at Michael's this week and just love the teal colors and butterflies.  I die cut the corners and then embossed them twice for the shimmery shine.  The bottom butterfly is a double layer.  The top was cut from the designer paper and the bottom was punched, colored with a Copic to match, and then painted with some shimmery Creative Inspirations paint.  The Top butterfly was created by punching the top layer and adding the same Copic and CIP combo.  For the bottom layer I used the negative of the punch to cut out a solid butterfly.  I also colored it with a Copic and then stamped it with a TH stamp to mimic the type face on the designer paper butterfly.  I was lucky enough to find two sets of TH stamps marked down at Hobby Lobby Monday and I snatched them both.  Hoping to use them in an art journal if I get the nerve to start it.  :-)  I also added some dimensional paint dots for the butterfly trails.
Hope you'll take a look around Mabelle's store.  There are lots of cuties in there.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Stampin' for the Weekend--bugs and butterflies
Forever Friends--anything goes plus animal
Moving Along with the Times--let's get krafty
Southern Girls--things with wings
