Let your dreams soar

Our theme this week at Mo's Digital Pencil is "At the Park".  Where I live, most people fly their kites on the beach, but if you don't have a beach then the park would be a perfect place.  I've used this adorable image from Mo's store called "Kite".  He's letting his dreams soar and who knows, maybe one day he'll be a pilot.  :-)
This card was such a joy to make.  It came together very slowly because I got hung up on paper choices to begin with.  I just couldn't find three patterns that I liked together and then I remembered the awesome corrugated paper I just got from Kraft Outlet.  I used some of it for the third panel and slapped some Picket Fence Crackle paint on it.
For the banner I die cut a star from chipboard, Light Kraft, and Bazill.  I cut all the points off the stars and then layered them, adding white gel pen dots.  I just love my dots.  LOL  I punched holes in each piece with a small hole punch to thread the Baker's Twine through.
I added part of my sentiment to the image with my computer.  For the last part I used some great Scrabble tile images that can be found in the tutorial section of Lisa Gregory's blog, What a Beautiful Mess.  I printed out the letters I needed and cut them out.  Then I glued them to some more chipboard and used a Tim Holtz sanding block to round the corners.  I lightly inked them with Vintage Photo and then gave them a healthy coating of Rangers Crackle Accents.
So dig around in your stash of Mo images and find one that will fit with our "At the Park" theme or check out Mo's store.  We have such a fantastic team of talented ladies.  Make sure you check out all the DT creations for some great inspiration and come play along.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
