TSG172--Let Them Eat Cake...

Hope you're all having a wonderful Tuesday.  :-)  I finally got caught up with all of you last night so this morning I was able to get up and finish this little sweetie for this week's challenge at There She Goes.  I'm not playing of course, just giving you some inspiration if you'd like to play along.
The challenge theme is to make a card or project using something sweet: candy, cookies, ice cream…CAKE!!
I've used some images from the Make A Wish set by Jessica Knutsen.  For the cupcake I stamped the cupcake bottom onto vellum and then used my score board on the lines so I could fold them and add dimension.  For the top I used Liquid Applique to make some fluffy icing and then popped on a few seed and bugle beads for sprinkles.  I probably didn't need to add a candle since this is a thank you card, but I wanted to try my hand at a rolled paper candle so it got one anyway.  :-)
As a special treat, for our birthday celebration, the random winner of this challenge will receive a $15GC as a prize!!
To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project using this week’s challenge(something sweet) and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (September 17th). The winner will get a $15 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities.
TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG172 so we can check out your beautiful work!
Jessica has just revamped the There She Goes store in case you haven't been to visit yet and right now you can find a coupon code on the There She Goes blog for 15% off your entire purchase.  You won't have a hard time finding something to buy.  LOL
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Digital Tuesday--sweet treats
Make It Monday--anything goes
The Sweetest Thing--sketch
Card Crafter's Circle--sweet as cherry pie

     Hugs to you all!

Could you be any cooler? A rolled candle with a flame flicker too? It's little things like that that you take the time to add that really make ALL the difference!
