Fuzzy Bear

This week at Mo's Digital Pencil we want to see "Cute and Cuddly" things.  I decided to go with this adorable little bear from the Tiny Dancer Elements set that Mo created to compliment her beautiful little ballerinas, Fifi and Odette.  I happened to run across an amazing blog the other day called Dove Art Studios by Jennifer Dove and she has some amazing Copic tutorials.  Check her out you won't be sorry.  One of her tutes was for creating texture on a teddy bear.  You can find it here.  My results aren't perfect but I was pretty happy with the way it turned out.
I did a ton of layering, some hand stitching (love my Tim Holtz ruler for that), and added some fun little pale pink eyelets for ribbon and bows.  You can't see it very well in the photo but her tutu is covered in Cotton Candy Stickles.
Although the sentiment is for a special soon to be birthday girl, I send it out to all of you today.
Please come over to Mo's, check out the Cute and Cuddly creations of my amazing team mates and play along for your chance at a $5.00 gift certificate from Mo's store.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Paper Crafting Journey--ribbon or twine
Southern Girls--animal crackers
Fab 'n Funky--animals
A & T Emerald Faeries--anything goes
Through the Classroom Door--anything goes

Ok, that's it..I'm coming over right now to squeeze this one! I've threatened it many times on your cards, but this one is a MUST. Did you use the washcloth or the flicking method? Not that it matters, it's amazing how she turned out. Her bedazzled tutu is also sensational. What a fun card Hick! You should be VERY proud of this one! :)

p.s..THIS is the message that was nearly the end of me. FINALLY, I can say, "Houston, we have lift off!"
