Let's twist again

Isn't she a hoot!  This little koala is a Christine Grove creation from Stamping Bella.  Yep, it's Bellarific Friday again at Blogabella.  Please excuse the purple button.  It matches the card IRL.  Last weeks challenge was this fun sketch.

sketch-14---july-18

I got quite a chuckle yesterday morning when I read Emily's Stamping Bella post on Facebook.  She described the sketch as elegant.  I smiled, looked at my card, and well.....had to giggle a little bit.  Elegant is not a word that would have come to mind for my card.  LOL  I mean, just look at her!  Energetic, determined, and cute yes, but elegant....who knows.  Maybe koala's have a different standard of elegance.

I did give her a bit of bling with my Wink of Stella pen.  I love the sparkle it adds, but it's so hard to capture it in a photo.

Copics Used:
bear C00, C2, C4, C6, C8, W1, W3, W5, N5, E00, E93, R20
clothing BG11, BG53, BG57, V12,  V93, V95, V99

Next weeks challenge is a Christmas theme.  It is July after all.

  14. Well, maybe she's not completely elegant, but she sure is adorable, and absolutely fabulous, too! And once again, your coloring just floors me! Love the subtle shimmer from the wink of stella pen, and LOVE the fuzzy texture you created on the fur. SO amazing!

  17. Elegant..LOL...I'm with you on that one. That's about the last word I would use to describe myself when exercising. I think that would be called an oxymoron. Your card however is spectacular!! Whenever you do animals it's always so much fun to sit and take in the wonderful texturing you do. I saw the funniest post of FB yesterday that applies perfectly. "What you do you mean I'm not a bear? I have all the Koalafications." Bwhahahaha...
    Hugs H!

What an adorable characther. Yes, the sketch is very elegant. Don't graceful dance moves count as elegant? Beautiful colors too! :o)
