Going for a ride

I hope it's as beautiful where you are as it is here today.  It's a great day for a bike ride!  I made this card for a friend at church who likes to ride bikes.  They can be a bit dangerous though.
A preacher friend of ours was recently hit and he wasn't even moving!  Poor guy thankfully didn't get hurt badly even though he took a tumble across the hood of the car.  Sad thing is the person didn't even stop to see if he was okay.  He's back on his bike, but he says he seems to have developed a great fear of white Honda Accords.  LOL
I've used Mo's fabulous Big Guy's Bike.  This set is really cool because it has add-ons like baskets filled with assorted things and this cool helmet I merged onto Big Guy's head.

Colors Used:
skin E000, E00, E11, E13
helmet Y11, Y21, YR23, R35, R37
shirt W1, W3, W5
pants BG72, BG75, BG78
bike R35, R37, C00, C2, N3, N5, N7

Some of you are probably wondering where I've been since I haven't bee visiting much lately.  Things seem to be coming up right and left and I've been super duper busy.  Family stuff, church stuff, and if you haven't seen it yet, we have a new Mo's Clubhouse Blog up and running and I'm in charge of that.  We're hoping to make it a really cool place for you to visit.  We have lots of inspiration being posted there AND we have a cool "Spring" coloring contest going on with some Mo rubber stamps as prizes.  Hope you'll check it out.
I'm off to try to whittle down my list of a million things to accomplish today.  Hope you have a blessed day!

Supplies:
Paper--My Mind's Eye "Miss Caroline--Dilly Dally", Recollections, Copic XPress-it Blending card
Stamps--Mo's Digital Pencil "Big Guy' Bike", sentiment from Purple Onion Designs
Ink--Versamark
Tools--Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles
Miscellaneous--Simon Says Stamp white embossing powder

What a great "man" card! Love the contrast of the bold colours against the black mat. We're on a bicycle route here on the country roads, but I'm always terrified when I hear the milk tankers thundering down the lane in case there's a bike around the corner! Hope your friend is OK. Hugs xx

Tracy, your story about your preacher friend reminds me of the evening the Penmaker and I were driving home and saw a car hit some kids on their bikes. One flew into the air, landed on the hood and rolled off to the pavement. He jumped up and rode away. We were terrified, called the police and told them the where and when, but never heard what happened to the kids. Glad your friend was okay!
Anyhow... your card is delightful... always love your work, my friend!

It's very dangerous to ride bikes where I live ... I got rid of mine sadly. Glad to know all is well and it's just work occupying your time ... Have a good week!

Oh, Tracy, this is a great guy card, and I love this "biker" boy!! My DH is a biker, and this sure would make a great card for him. Wow, I'm so glad to hear that your preacher friend is okay. I remember when my DH fell and had to go to the ER thinking he hurt his arm. All was well, but you sure have to be careful of drivers. Thanks for sharing another great card!! Your coloring is always so inspiring! Hugs!

Goodness, what a story Tracy... Isn't it sad that some people just don't seem to care for others anymore? Glad you're sooooo different though ;-) for you have made a gorgeous male card for your friend, he will be thrilled, for this is coloured and embellished to perfection! Hugs, Ira
