Rhett and Scarlet

I thought I'd show you a couple of the reasons I've been so busy this past week.  A few months back I had told you that we were going to be keeping  a stray dog.  He was some kind of Mastiff or something like that and was 100% muscle.  He had obviously been a house dog since all you had to do was crack the door and he wanted in, WHICH he managed to accomplish by using all that muscle to bust the door open.  Then he proceeded to make himself at home on my couch.  Not!!!  So he had to go and let me tell you getting him out of the house took a lot of muscle too.  I've got the claw marks in my wood floor to prove it.  LOL
So now I want you to meet Rhett and Scarlet.  My daughter was bound and determined to have another doggie to love....and she didn't want it to be lonely of course.  LOL  So.........when our friend at church told us his lab was pregnant she put her dibs on two pups.  Of course she has a soft spot for the runts and Rhett was the only chocolate puppy so he was a sealed deal.  He's so mellow and sweet.  Scarlet as you can see by the second photo is twice as big and loaded with energy.  Both are cuddlers and love to go to sleep in your lap.

So on the three days that my daughter works I get to babysit.  They're actually very good babies except when they're hungry.  LOL  Then they want to protest...LOUDLY.
I know these pics aren't that great.  I took them with my phone and obviously sleep mode is the only time I could get them still for photos.  I'll try to get some better ones.
     Be blessed!

  1. Hi Tracy - oh my goodness, how cute are those little bittle balls of fur! I have a yellow lab, Molly. She's 3 but anyone who meets her thinks she's still a pup because she's so full of beans. Brilliant dogs, if you've had labs before I don't need to tell you, but if not, then you have loads to look forward to. Lyns xx
