The latest release from Stamping Bella was loaded with some of the cutest chicks and bunnies just in time for Easter. Here I've used Easter Bunny Chick and colored him with Prismas. I'm using the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
I decided I wanted to try to mimic an egg for the second shape so I dug out an old Hampton Arts background stamp. It's a woodmount and didn't have a name on it. I used Versamark and white embossing powder and then cut out an oval with a die cut. I thought that Victorian Velvet Distress ink would match the paper strip I was using on the side but it was a bit darker so I ended up going over the paper strip with the DI too to try to even up the color. I also did a bit of splattering with the DI and added a few sequins. The pink ones are very shiny and didn't like the camera at all.
Mr. Chick comes with a matching die set for him and for the sentiment.
Hope you have a happy blessed Sunday!

Such a fun card, and fabulous coloring! I really love how you used the bunny chick and the big egg for the two shapes on that sketch. Really clever how you created that biggest egg. Way to go busting out the old stamps!
