Sunny Blooms

Things are greening up around here so beautifully.  It's been quite rainy lately but that seems to be helping everything along.
Today I am sharing some pretty spring blooms from Purple Onion Designs.  Sunny Blooms Large is from Stacey Yacula's The Sweetest Day collection.  Once again I have pulled out my Prismas to color the flowers.  For my background panels I used Canson watercolor paper and Distress inks.  I gave a rectangle of watercolor paper a color wash of three Distress inks and then cut it to size after it dried.

Hope these blooms bring a smile to you today.
     Blessings!

Beautiful, I love the background, the sequins look like little water drops! Cool image, perfect with the background :) Here in the southwest the blooms are already fading with all the heat coming on so early!
