A Kanga New Year

Well, we're all another year older from sometime last year and now the calendar itself has moved on a year.
Wanted to share these fun kangas with you from Art Impressions Kangaroo Mouthfuls set to welcome in the New Year.
The Mouthfuls set are a great way to make an interactive card.  Each set has one of two dies that cut mouths or other places in the main image that allow you to add elements.  In this case the die cut the kangas pocket so I could pop it's joey in.
For the background I used the present stamp from the set to stamp in different colors.  Then I added some vellum to mute them a bit so they didn't distract from the roos.

Copics Used:
kangaroos E31, E35, E51
roo's shirt R14, R35
party hat V17, BG57
cupcake R14, R35, V12, V17, E51, YR21, Y26

Hope this new year is filled with happiness and blessings for you all.
Tracy

Paper--Recollections, The Paper Studio vellum, Copic XPress-it Blending card
Stamps--Art Impressions "Kangaroo Mouthfuls set", WPlus9 "Summer Blooms"

This is a cute, fun and punny card! Gorgeous colouring on the roos and what a cute idea to have the joey able to 'hop' out. I also like how you've used the vellum.
