Julie Ranae has challenged us with the colors of Tuscany this week for the Play Date Cafe Challenge #41. Red, yellow, and white are our palette. Hope you all aren't getting tired of all the October Afternoon papers I've been using lately. I can't help it. I LOVE the papers in the Thrift Shop and Fly a Kite collections. Originally this was going to be a 5" x 7" card, but I just couldn't get it to layout anyway that I liked, so I decided to make it an easel card so I could use the lattice border punch as the stopper. I love this stamp, and yes it is an actual woodmounted rubber stamp. :)Supplies

Stamp: Rubber Stampede Sunflower
Inks+: Derwent Water Color pencils, Scattered Straw Distress Stickles
Tools: Nestabilities Large Scalloped Octagons (S4-187), EK Success 3/4" circle punch, Martha Stewart Garden lattice punch
Miscellaneous: Paper Studio adhesive pearls, Studio 18 Rhinestones, ribbon

What a very cool idea to slip those ribbons through the lattice, it looks incredible. I thought I would try that color challenge, but I couldn't do it justice like you just did. I am starting to get excited to see what kind of cards you will put together for fall, Halloween and Christmas !
