Pigs CAN fly

     Have you ever seen a pig fly?  Well this one can.  He's one of Art Impressions new Flutter sets.  See that pull tab at the bottom with the arrow, when you pull it, little piggies wings flap up and down.  It's so much fun to play with.

     I created a sky for him to fly in using a Nuvo Blender Brush and some Tumbled Glass Distress ink.  The clouds are double layered die cuts.  I used some Prismacolor pencils over my Copic coloring which dulled piggies outline.  Would like to have re-stamped over it but I used the pencils after die cutting him.

Yule cheer

     The days are ticking by and I hope they ARE filled with holiday cheer.  Yule the snowman from Purple Onion Designs is out spreading his own cheer.

     I re-stamped his scarf and popped it up with foam for a little dimension.  Gave it lots of sparkle too.  For the background I covered a white mat with Fired Brick Distress Oxide ink and splattered it with water and a little watered down white acrylic paint.

Cruisin'

     Have you been seeing all the wonderful examples from the new Purple Onion Designs release out there in card land?  The images are so much fun and you can do tons of scene building.  The collections are on sale through June 11th and all stamps are available for individual purchase.

     I decided to give the spotlight technique a whirl on this card and  stamped out the Mountains scene on the card base.  I only colored the portion that would be in the picture frame die cut.  The Cruiser image was colored and fussy cut before adding inside the frame.

You've got to moooove it, moooove it

     I never got around to using that crazy cow in Art Impressions Dairy Christmas set, but here is a whole herd of happy bovines from the Mooove It Mini Shaker set.  The black and white cow is throwing down some moves with the fun action wobble I attached her rear in with.

     I used some Distress inks to create the sky background and to add a little color to the clouds.

Christmas Shakers

     Today Art Impressions is debuting six brand new Mini Shaker sets and I've got three of them to share with you today.  The Mini Shaker sets include the stamps, die, and an action wobble for the "shake".

     First we have the Santa Mini Shaker.  His mustache is cut with the die and popped up with the action wobble.

     Next we have the Snowman Mini Shaker.  I trimmed around the bottom of his scarf so he could stick out a bit over the picture frame.  The puff ball on his hat is covered with Flower Soft.  It's the "Shake" part.

     Last I have the Reindeer Mini Shaker.  I cut his nose out of some red glitter paper.  Rudy needs to be "Shiny and Bright".  LOL  Young or old will have fun wiggling his nose.

     As cards or even Christmas tags these cuties will add some fun to your Christmas celebration.

Marmalade

     Now I have to admit that I am really a dog person, but sweet little Marmalade the Kitty Stuffie just melts my heart.  Last weeks Stamping Bella challenge was this cool Mojobella sketch.

Chloe

     Even though it's only mid January the Valentine products and cards are out in full force.  Today I'm sharing a card using stamps from Purple Onion Designs.

     For my image panel I stamped part of the Birch Tree Background and added a little color to the bark with Copics.  Next I stamped the sweet Chloe bunny, masked her and stamped part of the birch trees again.  I guess it's kind of a spotlight technique although I did add a little color to the background.

Star and Sky

Today I am sharing another card for Purple Onion Designs.  This card features Stacey Yacula's adorable Star and Sky birdies as well as the Winter Noteblock.  For the Noteblock I stamped in Versamark and then embossed with white embossing powder.  I them masked off the edges with some tape and used Tumbled Glass Distress ink over the embossing.

Star and Sky were cut out with a cute Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Tag die and given a paper bow and ribbon.
