Birds and roses

Am I the only one who keeps saying that I'm not going to buy any more crafting supplies until I use up what I have?  LOL  I hope not.  I also hope I'm not the only one who does it anyway.  hee hee
I'm a HUGE admirer of Kitty Caracciolo's work for Impression Obsession dies.  Flower die work is one of my favorite things to do.  I got away from it because I was trying to keep my cards flatter, but it's so much fun.  When IO recently had a great sale I just had to grab several of their flower/foliage die sets.
For this card I used the Spiral Flower set to accents the sweet Star and Sky birds from Purple Onion Designs.  The lattice background was made with a Spellbinders die and the sentiment was die cut four times, colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen and coated in Glossy Accents.

Copics Used:
birds E31, E35, E50, E51, E53, E71, R30
branch E33, E37, E53
leaves YG21, YG25, YG67

It's a bit chilly here today although the sun is out shining bright.  Saw lots of robins out this morning when I took the pups out so I thought this card was fitting to post today.
     Have a blessed day!

Flower garden

Wow it's March already.  New month means there's a new Stamp of the Month from Stamping Bella.  Flower Garden can be purchased all month long for 20% off.
For my "add flowers" challenge card, I snitched an idea from one of our posters on the Stamping Bella Sistahood FB page.  She made the cutest image panel using the Bunny Pile stamp and this Notebook Basics die from Paper Smooches.  I elongated the die cut so all the flowers would fit on it and then mimicked her doodling.  I LOVE how it looks.
The flowers were colored with Copics.  I embossed the back panel with a chevron embossing folder and added a vellum die cut doily.  The sentiment die cut was cut three times, layered and covered in Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

Copics Used:
flowers BV31, BV04, BV13, BV17, Y19
stems and leaves YG21, YG25, YG17, YG67

Next weeks challenge is this Mojobella sketch.

To play along just use a Stamping Bella image (make sure you use something that's currently in the store stock) and the theme requirements.  You can enter your project in the Inlinkz over at Blogabella or get your project photographed and emailed to Em at (emily at stampingbella dot com) with Bellarific Friday challenge and the date of the challenge in the subject line by Thursday evening.  Em offers a $25.00 Bella Bucks prize to one lucky winner every month.
You can find all the wonderful DT creations as well as those who participated in the sketch challenge over at Blogabella.
Hope you have a fantastic weekend.  We're doing some remodeling at our church so I'll probably  be slinging paint on something.
     Be blessed!

Say What!?!

I know you all probably feel like I've abandoned you.  I haven't, I promise.  Being asked to be Vacation Bible School Director this year has kept me hopping like crazy the last few weeks.  Making decorations and all the other prep has been extremely time consuming for me.  The actual school started last night so I have my days back and am going to try my best to get caught up with you all.

I just had to throw this little guy in my basket during Stamping Bella's last release.  He is just hilarious to me and I decided he would make a perfect card for my uncle's birthday.  His name is Nacho, the dog, not my uncle hee hee.

Copics Used:
E00, E01, E02, E37, E42, E51, E95, E97, E99, YR000

The "Say What!?! sentiment comes with the stamp and I used a WPlus 9 sentiment on the inside with a little calligraphy pen writing of my own.

Hope this little guy brought a smile to your face today.
     Be blessed!

Are you a big fan of lemonade?  I sure am.  I can drive my hubby crazy with them.  LOL  Guess you're either a fan or you aren't.  For this card I've used the precious "Lemons" from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I covered the pitcher with Glossy Accents and made the card a very simple design.

Flowers for her birthday

Happy Sunday friends!  One of the ladies who I go to church with is having a birthday tomorrow.  One of my goals this year is to create cards for the people I go to church with.  Now that could get overwhelming if we were a huge congregation, but we are a small country church made up of people who's families have grown together in the community for over 100 years.  At about 50 or so I think I'll be able to do it although the men are gonna be toughies.  hee hee
I've used a beautiful digital image from Power Poppy Stamps.  You can also buy this as a clear stamp.  I pulled out my Distress inks and set to work doing a little watercoloring.  The sentiment was embossed in Liquid Platinum and I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins to go along with the sentiment words.  You can't see it in the photo but I also went over the flowers with Clear Wink of Stella.  So pretty and sparklie!
The inside is just simply stamped with a WPlus9 sentiment that fit with the Precious Remembrance one on the front.

I think she'll like it and I hope you do too.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Power Poppy Peep of the Week-anything Power Poppy goes
Little Red Wagon--sparkle and shine
Stampin' Royalty--birthdays

     Be blessed!

Supplies:
Paper--Strathmore 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper, Recollections
