I had mentioned the other day that I had a bit of news to share. Well, here it is. Out of the blue I was invited by the admin at Just Inspirational Challenges to join their Design Team! YAY! I love surprises! JIC has a weekly challenge on Thursdays and this is my first contribution as a member of the team. The challenge this week is to make a Christmas card. I just purchased this darling little Christmas Fairy Holly image from Mo's Digital Pencil and decided to use her. Isn't she adorable!The card base is a step fold variation that I've never tried before. I really like the shape of it. The image is colored using a combination of Distress inks and Prisma colored pencils blended with OMS. Her dress flounce is covered with Diamond Stickles and the little snowglobe in her hand is covered in Glossy Accents. I added some TH Prima Poinsettias and some holiday trim I bought last year when all the Christmas goodies got marked down.

Pop out all your Christmas card making goodies and make something lovely to enter for this week's challenge.
