Papercraft Star Challenge #28

It's Challenge #28 at Papercraft Star and it's a sketch challenge.  I'm still trying to edge out of making my card exactly like the sketch and just use it as an interpretation.  You'll see I didn't go that far away from the original.  LOL
I've been using a lot of my scraps up lately and I found a few lone pieces of October Afternoon that just begged me to use them on this card.  Isn't she a cutie!  Her name is Lily (Lily with Hot Cocoa) and she can be found at Pink Cat Studios, our January Grand Prize sponsor at Papercraft Star.  She's been colored with Copic markers.  I created the sentiment on my computer and cut it out with Nesties.  That pretty little flourish was cut from a Sizzix die I just bought.  It's kind of hard to tell in the photo, but the mat base, flourish and the bottom mat for the image are all a very pale pink.

Our sponsor this week is Michelle's Scrapbooking & More, Home of Pixie Cottage Stamps.  Our winner will receive a free digi stamp.
Deadline for entry in this week's challenge is Saturday at noon EST so show us what you can do with this sketch!

Blessings!

What did I just tell you? Something about swirls giving each creation such elegance :-) Well, that's certainly the case with this cute card! Nice to use up scraps, love this colour combo!
