The Kraft Journal Challenge #8

"Cute as a button" is the theme this week at The Kraft Journal.  I've had these images for a while now.  I had won them in a challenge and this is the first time I've used them.  Aren't they cute!
I've used some Kraft Outlet Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock for the card base. All the designer paper pieces and image are matted with the same cardstock. The DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Wanted collection.
The buttons are handmade using three layers of punched Pre-cut Full Sheet Chipboard glued together and topped with another punch of the Brown Kraft Cover Weight paper. Their bows are Green Baker's Twine. I inked up a Small Kraft Shipping Tag to insert behind the image. I wanted the tag to match the DP so I just punched a small circle punch of the DP and glued it over the reinforcement to match the rest of the DP pieces and then a added a little Twill Tape into the hole in the tag.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Stampin' Sisters in Christ--at least three buttons
Curtain Call #71--color palette
Some Odd Girl--handmade element

Happy Monday!

What a fabulous card, Tracy! You are totally rocking the button challenge this week! I just love that you created your own from chipboard and cardstock. They look awesome, and so does your tag. I like how you personalized it and I like the jaunty angle you used on it and the paper panel. Totally adorable image and a fantastic coloring job. This is just beyond precious!
