Papercraft Star Challenge #33

When I saw these little Flapper lady bakers at My Favorite Things I just knew I had to make them mine and I knew I had to combine them with a recipe.  Well it just so happened that I signed up for a swap that I needed to make 16 recipe cards decorated in a vintage style.  This is what I came up with.
The front of the card is decorated with the Flapper cuties and some fun Valentine papers.  I had to add some stitching in there and some inking of course.
For the recipe I used some Lunchbag Kraft Text paper from Kraft Outlet.  It has the neatest texture.  I used a Notebook Edge Die-namics die from My Favorite Things for the top edge of the recipe card and then added lines with a sepia pen to continue the vintage look.  The card just slides into the front pocket.

The back of the card has a fun Martha Stewart punched heart and one of the sentiments from the stamp set.  There's also a little criss-cross pocket to hold any notes the person who receives the recipe might want to jot down.

This project required a "sweet' Valentine recipe.  So I sent a outrageous White Chocolate Bread Pudding recipe.  I've signed up for another one of these this month That calls for a soup or salad recipe.  Better start looking for some veggie papers.  LOL

Our sponsor this week is Copic markers.  YAY!  The linky will stay open until noon Saturday EST so come play at Papercraft Star!
     Happy Wednesday!
