Roses and Lace

If you haven't had the opportunity to  take part in the Fred, She Said Designs Valentine Blog Hop, you can still do it.  The hop runs through midnight tomorrow night EST.  You can start the hop at Tracey-Lynn's blog.

Here's another card using one of the beautiful pre-colored images from the "Hearts and Roses" colored digi set.  I've followed the Midnight Madness sketch for their challenge this week, so I'll be entering the card there.  My papers are My Mind's Eye.  I broke out my paper crimper (a rarely used tool) for a little added texture.  I had just enough of that pretty lace to make it all the way around the rose frame.  Sweet and simple!
      Thanks for popping in!

Supplies

Papers:  My Mind's Eye Organic collection, American Crafts, Georgia Pacific
Stamp:  Fred, She Said Designs "Hearts and Roses" pre-colored digital stamp set
Tools:  Nestabilities Classic ovals large (S4-110), Fiskars Paper Crimper, EK Success scallop edge punch, sewing machine
Miscellaneous:  lace from my stash, Basic Grey buttons, Martha Stewart Bakers Twine, Recollections adhesive rhinestones

Sweet and simple, maybe, but beautiful indeed! Love all the red and LOVE the lace around the die cut. And good for you for using your old crimper. I think the corrugated paper looks fabulous on here. I've got one of those things somewhere. Maybe I should go uncover that puppy now that you've inspired me. :)
