This is my second project for the A Day for Daisies celebration at CDAC. This is another one of the fabulous freebies that Tammy gave us to play with. You really need to check out her store. There's no way you cannot find something you'll like there. She also has an etsy store that offers a great 3/$10.00 deal. And she has a weekly challenge blog too. Lots of fun!
In keeping with her celebration theme, this is of course "sugar and spice and everything nice" for a girl birthday. I decided to go the vintage route on this one so the colors are soft and there's lots of inking. I wanted to dress the ribbon up a bit so I attached some beads through the punched piece. I added some machine stitching too, but NO I did not sew around that circle. LOL I used the plastic canvas template trick I showed in a tutorial a while back. Makes a perfectly round sewing line, something I could NEVER do with a sewing machine.
You have until Thursday to enter your card for the prize drawing. The freebies are only available through today (7/17) and you must use them to play along.
I still have at least one more ADFD project to share with you sometime this week. LOL
I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes" challenge.
Be blessed!
