This little cutie is called "Speedster" and she's a Phindy's Place image. She's colored with Copics and I did that blue chalk shading again. I really like how it looks and it's just so amazing what a difference that little bit of chalk makes.
I took a look through my Picasa Web Album for my blog yesterday and boy oh boy! Some of that stuff is so embarassing I'm VERY tempted to take it off. LOL I also noticed that I really like to use blue, cream, and brown---A LOT!
I wanted to use the shape of my Nesties Labels Two for the image but I wanted it to be a little longer than the die so I traced around the ends of it, connected the lines in the middle, and then just added the subsequent layers and cut with my scissors. The flowers were colored with my B93 Copic marker and then sprayed with Old Lace Glimmer Mist for some sparkle.
I absolutely LOVED this sketch when I saw it and for the bottom split panel I decided to add some scrunchy seam binding and a little bow.
