The Kraft Journal Challenge #31

     It's party time!!
This week at The Kraft Journal we want to see projects made with the theme of "Carnivals, parades, or parties".  I decided to take another shot at coloring with Prismacolor pencils on kraft.  The base of my card is Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock.  I added a mat layer of Buff Ivory Covor Weight cardstock on top of the base.  Next comes some DP matted on more of the Brown Kraft and then the image, matted on both the Buff Ivory and the Brown Kraft.  The image itself was colored on Lunch Bag Kraft cardstock.  The paper has great tooth for grabbing the pencil.  There's a piece of Twill Tying Tape wrapped around the middle, a sentiment cut out of the Brown Kraft, and a little banner across the top made with Chipboard Banner Pieces that I covered with some of the DP.  I added a little punched strip of paper to each piece along with an acrylic rhinestone and hung the banner on some Red Baker's Twine.
You have ntil Sunday at 6:00 p.m. EST to get your project linked up for a chance at out Top 3, a Feature Me Friday Spot, and our monthly $15.00 voucher from Kraft Outlet.  Don't forget, if you use one of the CD sleeves Beth has been showcasing, you'll get a second entry in to the voucher drawing.
     Happy Monday!
