Papercraft Star Challenge #56

WOW!  You guys really made us happy at Papercraft Star last week.  190 entries for our challenge!!  WOOHOO!  It was wonderful to have that many join us.  :-)
This first week of August starts some really big changes at PS.  We start our partnership with The House Across the Bay etsy store.  Rilly has some absolutely fabulous digital images in her store and you're getting to see some of them on our DT cards.  And guess what!  Be on the look out at the Papercraft Star challenge blog for some freebies for you!  Don't forget to check out the link on the sidebar there also with some awesome tips from Rilly on how to print out her gorgeous images.
Another change you probably already know about if you read our winner's post yesterday.  We now have buttons for our winners.  Both our first and second place winners will receive dowload prizes from THATB starting this week.  The details on all this are at the PS blog so make sure you check out our posts.
For my card I decided to use one of the images from one of Rilly's Microslides sets.  This set has 23 separate images in it and is called Doodads (082).  I printed the image out twice on glossy photo paper and they came out just beautifully.  They're my pop of yellow from our photo inspiration challenge this week (see my sidebar).  My card also has some embossing, buttons, damask ribbon, and a hand cut tag.
We'd love to see what you create with these colors this week.  :-)  Jan has posted our upcoming challenges on the blog under the "Challenges" heading so you can check them out and maybe get those creative juices flowing and planning for some of our upcoming challenges too.  There will be lots of color inspirations and some gorgeous sketches from our very own uber talented Kim Duran!
To play along this week, get your projects linked up by 6:00 a.m. EST on Monday morning.  We will be giving away a prize from The House Across the Bay etsy store every week so don't miss out on a chance at grabbing some of these fun goodies.  You are not required to use them to enter the challenge, but if you have any we'd love to see them.
     Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I love the contrasting colors of your card, Tracy! The gold/orange tones just pop out off the white and black to really create a gorgeous focal point. My eyes are resting pretty on this one!

Who knew that the inspiration photograph for this challenge would inspire so many regal and gorgeous cards from the PCS Design Team... I thought the color combo would be rather difficult, but all of you totally ROCKED the challenge... Your card is STUNNING! :-)
