Our challenge this week at The Kraft Journal is to make a Christmas tag or gift card holder. I found a tutorial for this sweet little gift card holder on Splitcoast Stampers and recreated it using some Kraft Outlet products. The base is made from Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock. I cut some DP panels for all the large sections.
For the cover I added a punched border piece of the Brown Kraft and a circle tag that came with the paper collections. To give it some thickness to aid in keeping the card closed I cut a circle of Chipboard and the Brown Kraft and sandwiched the three together. I also tied a bow with some White Twill Tape. For the inside I removed the flaps from two Mini Lunch Bag Kraft envelopes and used a circle punch to make half circle indentions for easier access to the gift card and whatever goes in the second pocket. I did a little stamping and then stacked the two pockets and adhered them to the inside of the holder. Easy peasy! And cute!
Hope you'll play along with our challenge this week. You just might be a winner and you'll get your name in the draw for that $15.00 store voucher we give away each month.
Happy Monday!

Tracy, what do you use for your background when you take your pics. It is always so CLEAN and CLEAR, which is a wonderful thing about your cards.
