Sewing seeds of kindness

Hope you've all been able to slow down long enough to enjoy the holiday a little.  LOL  The little sweetie on this card took some time to do a little sewing.  The image is called "Sewing a Stitch" and is from the new release this week from A Day For Daisies and you can find it along with lots of others in the ADFD store
I decided to try my hand at a little paper piecing.  I don't do much of this, but I always like it when I see others do it.  Lots of stitching and a quilted look to the background.  My daughter made the beautiful crocheted flower for me.
I have to admit I was a bit burnt out on Christmas projects so I really enjoyed making this card.  Now I'm ready to enjoy the holiday weekend with my family.  Hope you are too.  :-)
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Wow, Tracy, my jaw is just hanging open! I LOVE this card! Such a gorgeous design, and the paper piecing and coloring on that image are fabulous. I absolutely love the floral paper you chose for the quilt. Love the patchwork background, too, and your daughter's flower is lovely. What a multi-talented family you all are!

Hi Tracy. What a sweet card! And your daughter made the flower? That is fantastic. The image is gorgeous...coloring stellar...yes. And for today's message. It is beautiful, very beautiful. I may be Jewish - but one can not help but love the beauty and the peace within Christmas. I hear your message with joy in my heart that the little Jew that was born was able to change the world into a loving place for all Christians to live within and find a home. I wish you the most beloved Christmas and may the Spirit of Christ be all around and within you. Divinely, Samara xox p.s. I know that you know Jesus is my hero in everyway.
