Unconditional hugs

Hello my friends!  Today is new challenge day at Mo's Digital Pencil and I've chosen to use one of the sailor boys for our "Anything Goes" challenge.  Yep, that's right.  It's the first challenge of the month so that means anything goes.
I just love these little sailors and you can find the set in Mo's store right here.  He's colored in Copics of course and I used some My Mind's Eye Portabello Road papers to keep in the vein of the vintage look of his clothing.  Isn't his face just so sweet and so is his bear's!  Normally I'm just passably happy with how the hair turns out on my images, but I am really happy with this one.  He has easy hair though so maybe that's why it came out better.  LOL
Come join in the fun for your chance at a $5.00 gift certificate from Mo's store.
I have a little tip for some of you today.  I don't know about you, but I love to look at your posted cards up close.  Since Blogger made those major changes a while back, the default setting on everyone's blog makes clicked on photos pop up in those dreaded black light boxes that will not magnify.  It's super simple to change that so that visitors can blow up your card photos for a better look.
     Here are the simple steps:

  1. In the top right hand corner of your blog click on "Design".
  2. On the left hand side of the design page you'll find a list of options, click "Settings".
  3. In the secondary listing choose "Posts and Comments".
  4. Under Posts you'll see "Showcase images with lightbox", choose "NO".
  5. Save the settings and you'll be good to go.  :-)

Keep me in your thoughts today.  Our sweet friends have come in from Florida for a visit and their six year old will be spending the day with me tomorrow.  Keeping up with her is going to be a job for me.  LOL  It's been a while since I've had to chase my 21 year old daughter around.  I just love this little girl to pieces though so it will be worth it.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Chocolate, Coffee, and Cards--anything goes
Crafts and Me--1 image, 2 papers, 3 embellishments
Whimsy Stamps Inspiration--anything goes
Craft Room Challenge--friendship
Digital Tuesday--kids
Papertake Weekly--anything goes
Top Tip Tuesday--one for the men

Make It Monday--anything goes
The Cutie Pie Challenge--one for the boys
Graphicat Sketches--sketch
Craft Your Days Away--teddy bears

Crafts 4 Eternity Recipe challenge--bears

     Have a blessed day!

I remember that's the way I used to have my pictures set, but I went and changed it back and still they don't come full page like yours do. They are staying off to the left. Is that because I'm loading them as a .png and not a .jpg? Hmmmm....

What a wonderful card you've designed Tracy and best of luck with your playmate :) I bet a nap will sound wonderful when that's all over with ..LOL!
Hugs,
Twang

Hope you enjoyed your 4th, Sweetie! We had a very relaxing day. PTL
I love your card & that little ones face is just as sweet as can be. Your hair coloring is FABulous! Wowie!

btw.....loved your tip on folks not using those dreaded little box pics on their blogs. I want to see pics up close & personal. LOL I did this with my blog pics awhile back. Although mine took a little bit different route than yours. Under "Settings" my choice was "Formatting" instead of "Posts and Comments".

Good luck with your little one tomorrow but I know you'll do well & she'll adore spending time with you. Let her color or craft with you.

Happy Huggies & Blessings ~
Sharron♥

Hope you have a happy day with your little friend...I now take care of my 6 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson from Sunday evening til late Monday afternoon and it IS a challenge keeping up with them, but oh so worth it (and I know I'm older than you LOL). Your card is adorable; I love how Mo does little men. I actually made a card this week using the little aviator I saw here. SO cute! Love your blog, sweetie. Hugs, Kathy
