Normally I would have posted this card yesterday with the start of the new challenge at There She Goes. However, I did all those TSG projects last week and then got caught up with those crazy Girlfriends that I just had to take a little break. So here I am today with my card for TSG. This week we want to see you "Just Because" cards. You know, a card to say hi or what's up. No special occasion, just because you can.
I've used am image and sentiment from the "Lighten Up" set paired with this weeks Mojo Monday sketch. I'm not totally happy with the card. I think it needed a little something else, but frankly after I turned on the TV and saw what had happened in Boston I kind of lost my desire to craft.
Older Trendsetter cards from this stamp set and two others are being featured on the blog this week and on Friday I'll be back with another brand new card using one of the sets to share with you.

This is beautiful Tracy. I don't hink it needs anything else at all. The black really makes this card pop! I'm guessing the lampshade is paper pieced?? Looks fabulous :)

No, it needs nothing..the design is perfectly coordinated and the little center piece under the lamp looks like a wonderful table with a small doily or runner...I love it!
I'm with you Chica. The events in the news this week just zapped us all. Unbelievable, and now the fertilizer plant...it's just heartbreaking to think of all these families and victims.

You say you are not totally happy with this card but I think it's MAGNIFICENT! It's a brilliant sketch and your image and paper choices are perfect. I love it!
