Keep believing

Thanks so much for all the feedback you all left me on my blog candy post.  I've jotted down the suggestions some of you made and will try to work them into my posts.  It was nice to hear from those of you who visit silently too.  LOL  Any and all stealthy stalkers...uhhh I mean followers are appreciated.  hee hee
A new challenge opened on Sunday at the Catered Crop and Linda is calling for sequins.  There's a great board on the CC blog with some ideas for how to use these little sparklers.  They're pretty fun to use and I think I'll take a peek at Hobby Lobby tomorrow to see if I can find some in different sizes.  The ones I used were taken off a couple of the strung spools you can find in the Michael's $1 bin.
My image is one of my previously un-inked stash of Stamping Bella Uptown Girls.  This is Faith the Fairy.

I started off trying to use the Sketchy Colors sketch for this week and Faith cut out in a rectangle.  The card would have had to be 6" x 6" and even though my standard size is 5.5" x 5.5"  it just looked huge.  So.....I decided to cut Faith out and trim the card down to a more balanced size.  It now measures 4.75" x 6".  Odd I know but it looks much better.
My Mo's DT sistah Franz suggested I might want to add more photos like some close ups to my posts so here's a closer view of Faith.

It was also suggested that I post the markers I used on my image.  This can be tough sometimes kiddies cause I like to use every color in the color box.  This one was pretty straightforward though so here are the Copics I used:

skin (E000, E00, E11, E13, R20)
hair (E21, E23, E25, E27)
dress (BG10, BG11, BG72, BG75, BG78)(Y11, Y21, YR21, YR23)

I'll be back tomorrow with a fun card for the new challenge at Mo's Digital Pencil.  I'm the hostess for the challenge and I sure hope you can find some time to play along.  Give the Catered Crop challenge a try too.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Stunning! You did a wonderful job on the colouring, and cutting her out. It looks like you used a die to do this, it's so evenly done! Love your layout and colours and all the finishing details ( the crown border die fits so perfectly).
