A call away

You've all probably thought I've been a world away.  In a lot of ways I guess I have.  I needed a bit of a break from crafting and this last couple of months have been so jam packed with things going on within my family I had other things to focus on.  I continue to improve healthwise, but in doing so I have come to realize just how much time I was spending buried in crafting and there are so many other things out there I want and need to do too.  No, I am not giving up card making.  That's my creative outlet.  I just have to find a balance.  My postings will start picking up again.  I have lots of projects coming up to share with you from SugarPea, Mo, Stamping Bella, and Art Impressions.
Today's card was made with SugarPea Designs "Tin Can Chat".  I just used one of the little girls in the set and did some fun layering.

Don't forget Wendy is having a DT Call for new Peas and she also has a great sale going on right now at the SugarPea store.

Welcome back, Tracy! Although I've missed you, I'm glad you're doing fine and I totally agree that there are other things besides card making. I think health and family come first and if you needed a break from crafting why not taking it. Hope you've enjoyed the time just doing other stuff.
Lovely card, I especially like her dress!

Have a nice weekend, my friend!
Hugs, Anja

What an adorable greeting of support and friendship this is, Tracy! It really is so very sweet! I'm right there with you, too, my friend. Having been forced to step away from blogging made me realize how much of my time and life it was consuming. Can't afford to go back to that again. Now…the trick of finding that balance. Won't be easy, but it's a top priority. Love ya, girl…and I've missed ya while we've both been away!

This is gorgeous Tracy. I love the sweet image, pretty papers and fabulous layout.
I can totally relate to how you are feeling right now (I too will be blogging less frequently for a while as there have been some big changes in my personal life.) I am relieved that you are not giving up card making, you always give me so much inspiration.
take care, hugs Sue xx

I understand the need to step back a bit and re-assess your priorities. That is super important to do, but I'm glad you're not giving up card making entirely, as we would sure miss you!! :)
Your card is absolutely adorable! I LOVE the soft papers and love all your layers! The bit of scallops on the side is so pretty, as are the pearls, trim, and button. And how cute is that sweet little image? Her polka dotty dress makes me smile, and the coloring is just stellar! Absolutely in awe of all the highlights in her hair!
