Birthday Hamster

Well good Friday morning peeps!  We've gone from a couple of days of spring temps with howling winds to early 30's this morning.  What a crazy winter.  I sure could use some fur like this little guy to keep me warm.  LOL
It's the first Bellarific Friday of March which means the DT is showcasing the new "Stamp of the Month".  For March it's Mo Manning's adorable Birthday Hamster.  You can get him anytime this month for 20% off.
Last weeks challenge was to use washi tape or ribbon on your project.  I have to admit I got so caught up in making the card that I forgot the theme.  That little ribbon bow on the button saved me.
This is my first attempt at making a shaker card and boy was it challenging.  Making the shaker was easy, but I made it hard.  First off I only put one layer of foam tape which just wasn't letting the sequins shake well at all so I had to try to peel the image back off and add more tape.  That stuff is sticky and it was peeling off paper.  Finally got it off and added more tape.  Put it back on only to remember that I was suppose to use some white gel pen for the sprinkles on the cupcake so I had to try to peel it off again.  Grrrr!!!!  Leave it to me to make a very simple process hard.  Hopefully next time I'll be more organized.  LOL

Copics Used:
hamster E31, E33, E35, E51, R20, R22, R30
icing E71, E74, E79
cupcakeY11, Y21, YR21, E31, E33
wrapper BG49, BG72, BG75, BG78

The new challenge is a sketch.....

The rules are simple if you'd like to play along.  All you have to do is use a Stamping Bella image (make sure you use something that's currently in the store stock) and the theme requirements.  Get you project photographed and emailed to Em at (emily at stampingbella dot com) with Bellarific Friday challenge and the date of the challenge in the subject line by Thursday evening.  Em offers a $25.00 Bella Bucks prize to one lucky winner every month.
You can find all the wonderful DT creations as well as those who participated in the sketch challenge over at Blogabella.  If you want to grab our stamp of the month, "Birthday Hamster" at 20% , you can find it

I'll bet you handmade every single one of your embellishments too, didn't you?! Hoping you are staying warm....we are having the same weather issues here too! Take care and sending hugs to you!! :)
