The Clauses

I have been fighting my yearly nasty winter cold for the past week and a half.  I would say it was the flu but I didn't have the body aches.  Regardless I was miserable and I'm still hacking.  Grrr.  Sooo........while I was feeling under the weather and it seemed as though being upright and still kept the cough at bay some I decided to play some more with my Prismacolor pencils.  I added a few more to round out my collection a bit, especially in the grays.
I've said it before and I will say it again.  My stamp stash is ridiculous.  LOL  I stamped off a bunch of the wonderful Art Impressions Christmas images that I hadn't managed to get inked up before and went to work coloring.
This is actually one of the newer sets and is called Twinkle in a Tangle.  I still need LOTS of practice with pencils but they sure are fun and relaxing.  Wish you could see the Glossy Accents I added to the lights.

I've used the Freshly Made Sketches current sketch challenge to create the card.
I'll be sharing some more AI creations with you soon.
     Be blessed!

Supplies:
Paper--Lily Bee Design "Jingle", Bazzill, Recollections
Stamps--Art Impressions "Twinkle in a Tangle", sentiment from Hero Arts Holiday Sayings
Ink--Versamark
Miscellaneous--Glossy Accents

I love how your layout lets this lovely jolly couple take centre-stage. I know what you mean about your stamp stash ... I have so many stamped images waiting to be coloured, it's shameful! Hope you're feeling better now. We would recommend a Hot Toddy here, ie. whisky, lemon juice, honey and hot water. It may not have that much medicinal value, but it will either send you to sleep or make you forget about your cough and cold! Hugs xx

What a cute image with Santa holding the mistletoe waiting for a little kiss. :o) Excellent colored pencil coloring. Thanks for sharing. Take care and get better. Hugs, Geri N

Oh, Tracy, I'm so sorry you've been so sick! I pray that you will begin to start feeling lots better soon. It's hard to get just enough rest to fight it off. But you sure made a cutie for us today with this image. It makes me chuckle with this couple, and your pencil coloring is great. I've played a little but not had much success. I still move to Copic markers, but I would love to play more with pencils...maybe 2016? Hugs, and feel better, sweet friend!
