Cupcake Fairy

Today I have a special project to share with you for Stamp It Saturday with Penny Black.  You can find lots and lots of Mo Manning adorable images done in runner from Penny Black, just like this one "40-367 Cupcake".
The image was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics.  I trimmed the image on a diagonal and popped it up on foam.  Before I did that I used a little Distress ink to create some color behind the image on the card base.

Copics Used:
skin E00. E11, R22, R30
hair E21, E25, E29
crown Y28
dress and shoes RV10, RV21, RV23, E00
tights C00, C2
wingsB0000, BG000, BV000
cupcake liner E51, E55, Y32
cherry R35, R37, R43
icing C00, C2, C4

     Have a blessed day!

Supplies:
Paper--My Mind's Eye "Oh La La for her", Recollections, Copic XPress-it Blending card
Stamps--Penny Black "Cupcake"
Ink--Memento Tuxedo Black, Worn Lipstick Distress ink
Miscellaneous--Glossy Accents, Wink of Stella Gold and Clear Glitter pens, Crystal Stickles, Pretty Pink Posh sequins

This is SO cute and fun, and SUCH a great design! I LOVE how she looks like she's leaning into a whole mountain of cupcake. Such a great optical illusion with the diagonal cut and the inked background. And I really love the big sentiment, divided by the strip of paper. That large size is just perfect to balance out the weight of the top. <3

Hi Tracy! What a darling card! So cute! I love that you cut the front on the diagonal & sponged the background. Great technique....almost looks like cotton candy! And the squins are the perfect touch. Nicely done!
