Quilting

Thought I'd give you a peek at what I have been doing lately.  Our ladies at church have started making quilts to give away as blessings.  I haven't made a quilt in a LONG time but it inspired me to do it again.
I'd never made a rag quilt before but it was super easy and came together really fast.

This one is going to my daughter, but I have several more I'd like to make for.

     Have a blessed day!
Tracy

Tracy this is gorgeous! Sometime I would love to learn how to quilt. I've made 'quilts' years ago but not the proper way like how you have done. Very impressive I might add! Your daughter will love this, beautiful keepsake for years to come. Hugs,

Oh, how fun! It looks fabulous! I'm so excited to see you making a quilt. I haven't done any sewing in ages, and my fingers have been itching for it. Must do some soon! :o)

Absolutely gorgeous! How fun, and your color choices are perfectly scrumptious! I've never made a rag quilt, either. I always tie them, but you've inspired me ;).

Tracy, this is GORGEOUS! I love the colors and how beautifully you've finished this quilt for your daughter. She surely loves it! Oh, I remember making quilts for charity during my time with our local quilt guild, and each Christmas the charities would come to collect their huge pile and then share to whom they would be given and share the impact they make throughout the year. It was a special time for us all, and there were literally hundreds made each year. What a blessing, and how wonderful that your church has done this. I should get my sewing machine out and work on one like this. It's beautiful! Hugs, sweet friend...and I wish you a blessed Christmas day! xoxo
