C Stephens, an old team mate of mine from Papercraft Star, branched out into the world of rubber stamps a few months back and she has graciously supplied our DT with some of her sets to use on our projects this week. I have used "Another Year" which is all about birthdays.
For my project I have created a small gift bag from one 8 1/2" x 11' sheet of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock. You can find the tutorial for it here at Splitcoast Stampers. The front of the bag is layered with Buff Ivory Cover Weight cardstock and some designer paper. Baby Blue Bakers Twine closes up the bag. The party hat and sentiment are from the stamp set. I colored the hat with Copics and added some pink puff paint for the brim and tassle.
The matching card was also made with the same papers. I used the ballon stamp from the set and stamped it three times. More of the Bakers Twine adds strings to the balloons.
You have until 6:00 p.m. EST on Sunday to get your projects linked up for the challenge, which is "Anything Goes". The only requirement is that you use kraft paper or some product from the Kraft Outlet store.
Happy Monday!
