When I saw this little guy (I'm crazy about Mo Manning's images!!) focusing in his spyglass, I knew this was what I needed to make my card with. I really want to focus on figuring out who I am as a crafter in the upcoming year.
I got my second set of Copics for Christmas and it has made the shading and blending so much easier. I still have a lot to learn, like all that light source stuff, but I'm happy with how it came out. I used a little blue chalk around the image just to accent. I hope you can see the 3-D on the stars. I found that image online, printed it in three different sizes, and used a ruler and embossing tool to go over all the lines. Then I folded all the scores and it made the star have all that great dimension. I put a little Stickles on the edges for some sparkle. The sentiment just had to be finished so I finished the inside of the card too.
