The Kraft Journal Challenge #19

May 21 is Armed Forces Day and of course May 30 is Memorial Day so to go along with these special dates our challenge this week at The Kraft Journal is "Stand and Salute".
For my card I used a base of Brown Kraft Cover Weight cardstock.  I also used this for some of the matting.  I found several sheets of patriotic patterned paper and created a center panel using some layered chipboard stars that I painted with Crackle paint and inked as faux buttons.  They are tied with Red Baker's Twine.  There's also a little tab made of Natural Twill Tape and secured to the card with a metal brad.
Let us see what your interpretation of this weeks theme is.  Remember you must use kraft paper on your project OR a Kraft Outlet product.  You have until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday to get your project linked up.
Have a great week!
