Sometimes you just need cake

Hmmmm?  Maybe I should have left the "Sometimes" part off.  LOL  This cutie from Bugaboo Stamps has some mighty yummy looking cupcakes I wouldn't mind sharing, especially if they'd make me as skinny as her.  :-)
Our challenge theme this week at The Kraft Journal is "Cards for Her".  We ladies know that a good cupcake can solve the problems of the world, don't we.
My card base is Light Kraft Cover Weight cardstock.  I've used some great DP from Crate Paper and layered Miss Cupcake on top.  The double row of scalloped border cuts is wrapped with Pink Baker's Twine.  The fun sentiment is another gem from Create with TLC.  Paulette comes up with some of the best sentiments.  I really enjoy finding a good one and creating my card around it's theme.  Adds so much more to the card than a plain Happy Birthday or Thank You.
I also added some Prima flowers and a flourish, doodling around my image, and last but not least a couple of buttons tied with Hang Tag String.  Hope you can see that fun puffy icing on the cupcakes too.  That's Liquid Applique.
We'd love to have you come share you "Cards for Her"  with us.  It is a special week for lots of mom's so there should be plenty of "her" cards getting made out there in cardland.  Just make sure you use kraft paper or a product from Kraft Outlet on your creation to qualify.
     Happy Monday!

Oh, man, I SO agree! I think a cupcake can solve all sorts of problems. :) What a fabulous and happy card, Tracy! So love your coloring job, as always, and love the liquid applique touches. The doodling around the image is so fun, and I love the fancy flourishes, too.
